HANUMANTH RAMESH

Hanumanth Ramesh is a seasoned investigation and intelligence professional, with experience across a broad spectrum of industries and geographies. He played an active role in setting up Closed Door, driving policy and external relations with law enforcement agencies and adjacent government bodies.

 

During his international career, Hanumanth has spearheaded capacity-building and analytical initiatives in pursuit of combating organised crime and terrorism, during his tenures at INTERPOL, Deloitte, the International Criminal Court, and the wider security risk consulting industry.

 

Hanumanth's experience includes supporting global law enforcement and government stakeholders on capacity-building, threat identification and assessment, cross-border investigations, and intelligence products. He also worked in the crisis management domain spanning the Middle East & North Africa region, tackling numerous physical threats. During this period, he progressed into an entrepreneurial setup where he tailored expertise and service offerings with an emphasis on emerging insider threats including extremist and foreign state threat actors. Prior to his entry into the private sector, he worked in the policy domain which introduced him to inter-agency frameworks and government stakeholders where he devoted his expertise to unraveling terrorism phenomena of consequence to the US Government and other international stakeholders.

 

Hanumanth was awarded the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office's Chevening Scholarship to pursue a MSc in Countering Organised Crime and Terrorism at University College London. He also acquired a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Forensic Psychology from the University of Central Lancashire.
